FUTURE SHORTS IS PARTNERING WITH LEGENDARY BRITISH MUSIC ICONS UNKLE

The collaboration will see Future Shorts play host to each of the 4 music videos specially created for the album across the course of 4 days, starting today at 5pm, via our Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter networks.

Made by some of the world's top filmmakers, the videos reflect the enigmatic nature of the band's music and span 7 of the album's tracks. The new works come from directors John Hillcoat (The Road), Ross Cairns, Warren du Preez, Nick Thornton Jones and Paul Andrew Williams (London to Brighton, The Cottage).

Hillcoat's stunning video for 'The Answer' sees Ray Winstone (The Departed, Sexy Beast) recalling being struck by lighting to the backdrop of a vivid montage of powerful scenes from science and nature, whilst Paul Andrew Williams' 'Savours and Angels' is an enthralling short film trilogy spread across 3 different tracks.

John Hillcoat - The Answer
Acclaimed film director John Hillcoat, whose last major motion picture feature was the critically heralded ‘The Road’, directs the first video for UNKLE's ‘The Answer’. His vision begins with Ray Winstone (The Departed, Sexy Beast, Cold Mountain) relaying a memory from years past.

The first video off UNKLE's album "Where Did The Night Fall" was directed by Warren du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones with a performance by Liberty Ross.
