Future Shorts provides the much-needed link between the film industry and the short film world. Future Shorts believes that short films are both a medium in their own right and a calling card for emerging talent. We provide several different consultancy services for our customers: Future Shorts acts as consultants to advertising agencies and film companies, as a vital link for sourcing and filtering the hottest new talent Future Shorts works with companies and organizations to source short films, compile selections of shorts, or provide short films to fit a variety of occasions or moods. Some of our client assignments include: Shots - Future Shorts provides 3 short films a month to a monthly DVD magazine talent showcase that goes out to over 600 productions companies and 1000 advertising agencies worldwide. Sony Playstation – Future Shorts are a trusted partner of Sony, curating short films for the PSP handheld device and HD films for the launch of Playstation 3. UK Online – Future Shorts implemented and successfully delivered ‘Faster Films’, a UK film competition based around the theme of ‘speed’ to promote broadband downloads from this UK ISP. Picturehouse Cinemas - Future Shorts is working for the return of short film before features. We have shown 'Suba' by Alastair Graham before X-MEN III, a selection of Horror shorts before a rescore of Nosferatu and a short programme of animations inspired by Belleville Rendezvous before a rescore of the film. Stella Artois – Future Shorts has worked extensively with Stella as a headline sponsor during 2006 on multiple projects. To demonstrate the filmmaking process, we sourced the best in new and upcoming filmmaking talent to creating a brand film for Studio Artois. The Weinstein Company - We have worked with Miramax / The Weinstein Company to find new talent.
